Our Curriculum
Our Curriculum creates broad learning experiences for our children; from learning about the fundamental skills needed for life, to deliberating who really was responsible for the tragic end to Macbeth. The St Mark’s Curriculum has been designed to help our children put their learning into a wider context, with an understanding as to how their learning is relevant to them. Showing recognition toward inspirational people in our world, we strive to create an inspiring and inclusive environment for our children. Our children have lots of opportunities to partake in our Student Leadership Team, School Council and Worship Committee, as well as being able to create memorable moments through immersive experiences including school trips.
We have over 60 staff, including many support staff, specialist music and French teachers as well as a full time PE coach. Our children are taught and supported by dedicated professionals who have a genuine love of teaching.
Our children are enriched with knowledge about inspirational people in our world who they can use to assist them in guiding their life choices and ambitions.
We are committed to celebrating our children’s work and invite you to share in their successes.
Should you require any further information in relation to the Curriculum, please contact Miss Chaplin, Assistant Headteacher.
