St Mark's CE Primary School

Our Performance

St Mark's Primary School was visited by Ofsted in June 2024 and we are delighted to say that our school has been rated 'Outstanding'.

A copy of the report is shown below.

We are thrilled with the description of what the inspection found: “supportive environment” where pupils demonstrate “mutual respect and a strong sense of teamwork”. The inspector also expressed admiration for the school’s excellent education provision that enables pupils to “achieve consistently highly”.

I was most pleased that Ofsted recognised that St Mark’s “builds a collaborative relationship with parents, engaging them meaningfully in their children's education.”

SIAMS

As a Church of England school, we also receive SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspections. We were inspected in June 2024 and the inspection findings indicate that the school is living up to its foundation as a Church school, and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish (A).

"Lives are transformed because they are surrounded by a conscious feeling of all encompassing love."  (SIAMS, 2024)
